Harriet! Har-ee-et.

Topic: Harriet Miers as the replacement for Sandra Day O'Conner, the swing vote up for grabs in the 2004 Presidential Election, when Karl Rove taught us all a thing or two about the value of repetitive monosyllabic talking points and politics from the pulpit. (Forget the whole Valerie Plame mess for a moment):

Ms. Miers:

a) a hard-hearted harbinger of haggis (axe murderer)
b) a pitbull in size 6 shoes (W)
c) a Texas crony with mediocre credentials (National Review: Michael Brown/FEMA anyone?)
d) all of the above

This is going to be an interesting Fall in Washington. Pun intended.
